eBay Forces Seller To List A Brand

Clothing, Shoes & Accessories: As of July 20, item specifics for Brand, Style, Color, Size Type and Size will be required for all new and revised listings in Clothing, Shoes & Accessories categories.

Anyone else think this is asinine?  So much for protecting your inventory suppliers - now your competition can steal it even easier!  What about vintage items?  Custom or hand-made items listed in the regular category?

I love people who make up rules without any idea how in impacts thousands of people's income!
