Spring is the time....to buy cheap and sell high!

So here's an example for you...funny but i just saw this at a Garage Sale last weekend for $4...the guy would have prob. went down to $3 if i had bought it.  Playboy bunny Wilton cake pan...he told me his wife used it once for a shower for a friend - like brand new condition.

i was at Michael's and i knew these cost some $ but wasn't quite sure how much.   I passed on this for $3-$4 just do to lack or knowledge or confidence that this would even sell on eBay.

THEN i came home and researched it on Terapeak...i saw a 83% sell through rate and average price of $23.  So when you do that math...if Ebay/Paypal takes 20% of a $23 sale...that leaves you with a profit of $18.40...minus $3 for the item at a Garage sale...profit of over $15. 

Ok, so if you find 20 items per week to sell at a profit of $15 each you end up with $300 per week of extra money :)

This is very doable...esp. with the summer coming up when people are clearing out things, selling, downsizing, etc.

Terapeak is a great tool for researching item selling prices and much more - for less than $10 a month is very worth it, plus now you can download the APP for the IPhone and research anytime, anywhere!
